Contemporary Urban Living at Luxor Court
From the very first time that I stood in the dust covered building that we know and love as Luxor I could feel its splendour. With the most fantastic high ceilings I’ve ever seen and a staircase like that of the Titanic’s, I found myself consumed with ideas of what it would have looked like in its glory days.
Swiftly brought back to the here and now by the pigeons flying around me, I began to wonder how 12 apartments would soon fill this wonderful building; knowing that if the developers got this right, Lancing would have another cracking way of showing its regeneration ability.
Fast forward on to the nearly completed renovations and the developers have not only got it right but, in my opinion, they have set a new standard.
The development offers some of the most spacious apartments in the area and three of the remaining apartments also have the benefit of balconies; providing the perfect setting to enjoy the sunrise over breakfast or for those warm summer get togethers. I simply can’t help feeling like every day here will feel like a hotel day to its owners as the luxury continues throughout with modern, high quality kitchens individually designed; and wonderfully large bedrooms.
I love the sympathetic embrace of the building’s iconic art deco history and you know those high ceilings I spoke of? They are here too, along with large feature windows that amplify the space.
With its close proximity to Lancing train station you can get to London in just over an hour; and with all of the village’s quirky new cafes, restaurants and independent shops, Lancing is beginning to feel like a mini Hove or Shoreham.
Living in Lancing myself, my favourite gem here is the beach. Its where you’ll find me and my family if ever the sun is warm enough and, being nestled in between two larger towns, you’ll often only find the locals enjoying the Lancing coast as opposed to the summer tourists.
Speaking as both the Senior New Homes Consultant for Jacobs Steel and as a resident of Lancing, I can genuinely say that I believe Luxor Court to be one of the area’s most desirable addresses. But don’t take my word for it; come and see them for yourself.
We have dressed a new show apartment so that you can visualise how to fill the space; and all remaining apartments are also available to view.
