But where did it all start?
Worthing born and bred, Ashley Jacobs and Derek Steel founded the business in 1984 with one office in Broadwater and have since grown the company in to the well-respected, market leading estate agency it is today; with 6 offices across the South Coast and 4 successful departments.
In January 2018, Ashley and Derek handed over the reins to joint Managing Directors Pat Barton and Matt Jacobs, who have both enjoyed a long history with the company.
Under Pat and Matt’s leadership, Jacobs Steel have undergone a major re-brand to reflect our fresh approach and our region’s flourishing future. The changes include the renovation of all 6 of our offices and a complete overhaul of the cream and burgundy branding we are known for.
It was important to us to reflect our vision for an ever changing, modernised future; whilst maintaining the reputation for trust and honesty that we’ve been built over the past 35 years.
Along with our visual face-lift, we have recently seen the launch of our ‘Signature’ brand; where homeowners with premium properties will benefit from the additional marketing that the high-end market demands. We’ve also hired a dedicated Marketing Manager to take responsibility of our digital presence, in addition to the marketing that is considered ‘the norm’, in order to ensure each of our properties gets the maximum exposure possible.
It is important to us that we’re able to portray that we’re not just another Estate Agent. We genuinely do invest a personal interest in our customers and the locations in which we live and work; and by moving forward within the ever-changing world of technology we live in, we’re doing the best we can for them. By making use of all marketing channels available to us, we can achieve the best results for our customers.
