Spotlight on our Sales Progressors
Selling your home is not just a transaction for us. We are dealing with people’s lives. We treat your home as individually as you.
So what can Jacobs Steel do to help you as you as you embark on your buying or selling journey?
We’ll provide you with a dedicated Sales Progressor – Rachel or Richard – their only job is to make sure your sale and/or purchase stays on track.
Any estate agent can sell your property using the online property sites such as RightMove and Zoopla. What sets Jacobs Steel apart is that we know that’s the easy part. Did you know, 50% of chains break down due to misunderstandings and poor communication.
We understand that trying to keep in touch and address any issues in the chain is both time consuming and stressful.
We take that away from you with our experienced Sales Progressors. Their only job is to give you the best possible chance of completing the sale with the minimum amount of stress and hassle.
Between them, Richard and Rachel have over 37 years’ experience. They receive so much positive feedback and we’re really proud of them.
Here’s a short Q&A with them both, to tell you more about their role.
Rachel Goff
Sales Progressor – Residential Sales
Q. What is unique about the role of Sales Progressor?
“I can purely focus on communicating between all parties in a sale/purchase which means I get to know each transaction inside out and it remains on track. Many estate agents, including ones I’ve worked for before, do not have a Sales Progressor role, and instead estate agents themselves are expected to fit sales progression into their busy days – so often sales progression isn’t always a priority. Jacobs Steel is incredibly focused on doing everything possible to ensure a smooth transaction for all parties.”
Q. What do you enjoy most about being a Sales Progressor?
“My favourite part is when a difficult transaction crosses the finish line and I’m able to tell our vendors and purchasers they’ve successfully completed. And I love the excitement of first-time buyers!”
Q. What has been your favourite bit of feedback you’ve received?
“Many people say to me they believe that without my input their sale/purchase could have fallen through. And given the recent rush to beat the stamp duty deadline, I’ve helped people save a lot of money.”
Richard Wetherall
Sales Progressor – Hove
Q. What is unique about the role of Sales Progressor?
“Having access to all parties to the transaction and the ability to help each party achieve their aim. It requires various skills and empathy knowing we are dealing with peoples lives, its not just a transaction.”
Q. What do you enjoy most about being a Sales Progressor?
“Being able to overcome problems arising from the process and working with all different people to achieve clients’ and purchasers’ requirements. The more difficult a transaction the greater sense of achievement. It’s a real team effort!”
Q. What has been your favourite bit of feedback you’ve received?
“Knowing that you have been instrumental in achieving completion that could have easily gone wrong and when a change of property will mean so much to someone/a family’s life.”
