2019 was the year of change for Jacobs Steel.
We saw our two new Managing Directors, Pat Barton and Matt Jacobs implement one of the biggest rebrands our company has ever seen; stepping away from our renowned burgundy and cream branding in to a vibrant, unmissable red with contemporary logo.
We hired our first ever Marketing Manager; a decision that has proven to be a decision well made. Our social media and website engagement has grown hugely and we are confident our rebrand campaign went as well as it did thanks to our Marketing Manager, Jayde.
We also held our first ever charity ball; raising over £9,000 for local mental health charity; Mind Coastal West Sussex. Really, it was the success of this ball that encouraged us to set further charitable goals for 2020…
At Jacobs Steel, we’ve always been proud of our involvement within our local communities. We are often seen sponsoring local events, taking part in village carnivals and summer parties; and our boards will often promote school fayres and charity runs.
We’ve raised thousands of pounds over our history; but this year, 2020, is the year that we raise £20,000 within 12 months.
We will be doing all we can to give back to our local communities by raising as much as we can for those who need it most. Our charity ball later in the year will play a big part in our fundraising, but we also want to encourage our staff to be more involved in volunteering and fundraising too. So, throughout the year, keep your eyes peeled for what we’re up to within your community and feel free to join us and get involved!
